Velvica presents cloud services billing, management and sales automation platform for data centers and enterprises at VMworld Europe 2015
Barcelona, Spain – October 12, 2015 – As part of VMworld® Europe 2015, Velvica will make a presentation of its turnkey solution that enables data centers to automate cloud infrastructure and applications sales, and to implement IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) concept for enterprises.
Velvica platform allows data centers to offer their customers self-service enterprise-class cloud infrastructure in a matter of minutes. Velvica platform includes self-service portal for businesses, back-office portal for service providers, recurring, metered and one-off billing, cloud services provisioning, payment tools, and meets even more complex business needs with its affiliate program that allows a service provider to build its own reseller sales channel.
The Velvica platform provides flexibility to data centers as it can be used with a number of orchestrators and control panels, such as VMware vCloud Director®, Cisco UCS Director®, IBM SmartCloud Orchestrator and OpenStack. The most prominent integration is made with orchestrator and control panel designed by Servionica. This solution provides the ability to use additional functionality (e.g. IPv6) and an intuitive interface for end users. The joint solution from Velvica and Servionica has already been implemented by one large European data center.
Besides Infrastructure-as-a-Services (IaaS) Velvica platform automates Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales. So on top of IaaS service providers can offer their customers complementary cloud services, such as Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), Monitoring-as-a-Service (MaaS), Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) and others.
Velvica platform can be used by enterprises to implement ITaaS. After its implementation IT specialists will no longer waste time on routine work to provide company’s employees access to IT resources and services: company users get access to the self-service portal where they can order cloud services required for work on a real-time basis.
